10 key things I have learned in the last year

Posted on June 2, 2013

1. If you take a break from love, you get to find out who you are

2. If you don’t know who you are in your relationship, or if you start to lose confidance and doubt yourself, you’re in the wrong one

3. Workplaces can be like abusive relationships – watch out!

4. People are complicated creatures, and you can’t second guess or make assumptions as to how or why they behave the way they do

5. If you don’t respect yourself, no one else will

6. When you hit rock bottom, there really is only one direction you can go in from there. Even if there seems to be a bottom below the bottom – you just hadn’t hit bottom yet!

7. Men will say whatever they think you want to hear to have sex with you – but you have to be aware of the signals you’ve given off that led them to thinking they could have a pop at trying

8. Everyone should experience group sex

9. You can aim for integrity, dignity, self respect, modesty and pride – but you’re only human if you don’t achieve it all of the time. Nobody’s perfect. Life isn’t a film script.

10. Confidance really is sexier than having a perfect body – if you aint confidant unless you’re ‘perfect’ then look a little deeper and work on that instead
